Cob Oven
Long Way Home, a non-profit in Guatemala. Their mission is to use sustainable design and materials to construct self-sufficient communities and promote environmental stewardship.
The Cob Oven workshop was a self initiated community project at Centro Educativo Técnico Chixot organised by Seyi Adelekun during her three month internship. A “cob” oven is a wood-fired oven made from natural materials that are ubiquitous virtually anywhere in the world: clay, stone, sand and straw. The three day workshop ended with a pizza party to celebrate the completion of the oven.
