Bamboo Construction

Wübu (Mountain, in the local Garífuna Language), located in Livingston, Izabal, at the margin of the Río Dulce, is a project that applies ancient and modern technology to generate a Sustainable Model for Rural Development, based on permaculture principles and the concepts of peace, harmony and plenitude. During her time living and working on the project, Seyi was involved in harvesting the bamboo and designing and constructing bamboo furniture and architectural structures.
